In what has been hailed by both organizers and participants as the best McGill Model United Nations Assembly in recent memory, IRSAM concluded its McMUN 2011 with thundering success. To thank all of you that assisted and the McMUN Secretariat for their work, we will be having a get-together at Gerts’ tomorrow (Tuesday) at 18:30 instead of our regular weekly meeting. In order to thank the McMUN Secretariat and all those who staffed, directed, paged, and assisted, we will be having a pow-wow tomorrow (Tuesday, February 1) at Gerts’ vers 18:30. Come to finish off the weekend as it always should be following McMUN: on a Tuesday, with alcohol and good company.

Applications are available for the positions of Deputy Undersecretary-General, Committee Affairs (General Assemblies and Economic and Social Councils); Deputy Undersecretary-General, Committee Affairs (Specialized Agencies and Crises); and Deputy Director of Public Relations. The linked application contains information on each of the aforementioned positions and is due either in Shatner mailbox #101 or by email to sg@ssuns.org by February 8, 2011 at 18:00.
